Our Story
Aurora Indigenous is owned by an Alaska Native Corporation, the Oceanside Corporation, with offices located in Wasilla, Alaska. Oceanside and our sister company, Three Star Government Solutions, have roots that trace back to the Alutiiq people of Perryville, Alaska, descendants of those who endured the 1912 Novarupta volcanic eruption. This catastrophic event buried entire villages, including Katmai and Douglas, and transformed the landscape forever. Despite immense challenges, our ancestors rebuilt their lives, establishing a community founded on perseverance and innovation.
Our team is remote and staff are located in Alaska and across the lower 48 states. Our team have years of experience with Federal Tribal programs and SAMHSA grantees. Everything we do is grounded in cultural respect and collaboration, and we work alongside Native communities to support their unique needs, strengths, and traditions.

Our team is predominantly Native professionals who have worked together for more than eight years as a cohesive unit, bringing trauma-informed and culturally grounded approaches to the work. We believe the most successful solutions are built with communities, not for them.
